Mr. Tom P. Nicholson
Executive Director
The Arthur W. Page Society
Dear Tom:
Writing to ask a favor. We're having a helluva time trying to get a response out of your association's president.
As you are likely aware, we ran a piece last Friday on your recently released white paper, "The Authentic Enterprise" (see http://tinyurl.com/266h4z ). In it we listed 20 questions for Mr. Bolton. We've tried variously to contact him; but regrettably have not heard back, not even a simple acknowledgment.
Frankly, we're rather miffed. Our piece was/is totally aligned with the spirit of the white paper as described by Bolton himself in the Forward: "Our objective is to stimulate dialogue – within companies, among leaders across a range of industries, and more broadly with influencers and stakeholders who care about the role of corporations. We hope such a dialogue will help all organizations – vast global enterprises and smaller local ones – to be more authentic."
In the spirit of dialogue, can you facilitate a response to our questions please?
Thank you kindly.
Regards,
Brian Connolly

PS Just so we're clear, if by "authentic" Bolton was referring to some New Age iteration of our more traditional PR obfuscation, I totally understand. Sorry for the confusion. In that case, please disregard.
