Most Prestigious PR Award of the Year; Last Chance to Vote
Can we be honest? Totally between you and me? I am absolutely sporting falsies on the first date. To tell the truth, Mother Nature has been kind (modestly). But seriously, a little enhancement to the eyes and boobulars goes a long way as to first impressions. Besides, statistically speaking, NO ONE is going to take a base let alone hit a homer on the first pitch.
And 2007 gave us a bumper crop. Just to name a few:
- This year the Nuclear Energy Institute -- with help from its PR firm, Hill & Knowlton -- launched the "Clean and Safe Energy Coalition" to promote the idea that building new nuclear reactors would help solve global warming.
- The Merck pharmaceutical company, currently reeling from billions of dollars in legal settlements over Vioxx, its prescription pain reliever that has been linked to an increase in heart attack risk, has a new miracle drug it's selling -- Gardasil, a vaccine for Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
- And who can forget the now famous fake news conference by FEMA as the wildfires raged in California.
Of course, there's more! And this is your last chance to vote. The deadline for entries is TOMORROW at 5:00 p.m. CST. So don't delay, vote today! Get yourself on over to http://www.prwatch.org/ .
