I'm tempted to go, but I'm saving up to hear from Vermontville resident Robert Anthony Robinson.
Oh No!
Does this mean the International PRSA global confab event spectactular is cancelled? Here I was praying that the Strumpettes would be launching the newest Web 3.0 streaming i-vodcast live from the concierge lounge at the lovely Philly Marriott. C'mon Amanda, savethespin...
Big Yawn. Didn't Richard Laermer make an attempt at doing this via a poorly-written book back in 2003? (yes, I did read Full Frontal Public Relations). He ended up getting a gig with a brief reality show and a symphony of snickers from more successful PR folk.

Somehow I don't think this event -- clearly, of the change-your-vacation-plans-and-get-your-arse-to-Charlotte kind -- will be nearly as entertaining as Fox's show a few weeks back where the masked magician showed you how they do all those tricks... then again, I'm told I'm a snarky little bastard so I could be wrong.

This just in moments ago... mark your calendars: on Wednesday, October 3, 2007... in just 56 days... the business of public relations will be officially over.
