This just in from our affiliate in Lancing, Michigan... Vermontville resident Robert Anthony Robinson has achieved the lifetime professional designation of "APR."
Administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), a consortium of 9 leading industry organizations, including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), "APR" signifies proficiency in the knowledge, skills and abilities required to practice public relations.
Earning an "APR" is a rigorous process. One must complete an application and pay the $385 application fee. One must complete a "Readiness Review," questionnaire and submit to a "Readiness Review" interview with three current APRs. And finally, one must pass a computer-based examination.
"I am thrilled," said Robinson.
