I hate to sound really, well, really Web 1.0, but I can't seem to find the pages here that show previous contest winners, the 10 best runners-up, all that good stuff.
Or do I have to make a formal Strumpette Access to Information request to get this info? - P
Peter,
In the siderbar under "Topic Categories, see "Contests." (here: http://tinyurl.com/3829oe ) As far as runner-ups stuff... sorry... we are only announcing the winners. - Amanda
So only you get all the laughs? Damn.
Why not put the whole caption contest on a wiki so that everyone can not just view all the entries, but also go in and edit the winning captions so they'd be, like, much funnier, I'll bet, what with everyone working collaboratively to make it funnier and funnier. Just a suggestion...
Well, practically speaking, I don't think it would work. And then how would we give out the reward?
- Amanda
Amanda, I see you're stuck on this whole winner/loser thing...
Okay, how about everyone goes to SurveyMonkey.com and votes for the Wiki contributor they thought added the most funniness to the caption? Pretty simple, really. Can't see why that wouldn't work. - P
This isn't American Idol. I don't want to dance with Sanjaya.

As you are aware, we've been running a caption contest here at Strumpette for the last four months. It's been a huge success and we couldn't be happier. Well... okay... show your appreciation Amanda! Put our money where our mouth is.
