Martin Turnbull, Dean of the Communications College at the Kepler School of Management, is claiming that the speech by Fake Richard Edelman appearing here Wednesday, was "a wholesale lifting of source material” from Joseph Goebbels, "Der Rundfunk als achte Großmacht." Turnbull said, "It's almost word for word. The original speech was given by Goebbels August 18, 1933 on the occasion of opening the International Radio Exhibition. Like some see the Internet today, the Nazis were convinced of the power of radio. They thought that a cheap radio receiver gave the average citizen access and could be harness to extend the Reich's power." While Fake Edelman acknowledged that Geobbels' speech was a resource for the presentation he's giving Friday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he dismissed Turnbull's charge outright. By way of introduction, it's becoming more readily apparent that in the absence of greater leadership and global stewardship; complexity, competing interests and scarce resources remain the greatest obstacles to progress on the global front. It is in this challenging context that the World Economic Forum this year highlights "The Power of Collaborative Innovation" as the principal theme for the Annual Meeting in Davos. I — along with my friends and colleagues Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1997-2007) and Member of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum; James Dimon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, JPMorgan Chase & Co., USA; K.V. Kamath, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, ICICI Bank, India; Henry Kissinger, Chairman, Kissinger Associates, USA; Indra K. Nooyi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PepsiCo, USA; David J. O'Reilly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chevron Corporation, USA; and Wang Jianzhou, Chief Executive, China Mobile Communications Corporation, People's Republic of China — believe strongly that we are at a global inflection point. "Collaborative Innovation" is the promise that gets to the core of global cooperation and economic stability. I will be opening the session titled "Using Technology to Create Competitive Advantage." My panel will focus on how some countries are becoming intensively competitive by using information and communications technologies, while others are being left behind. This just in... an internationally renowned marketing industry analyst has accused PR kingpin Fake Richard Edelman with plagiarism. The accusation has set off a furious back-and-forth on the Web and reignited the ongoing debate about what does and does not constitute "illegal use".

Anthone who has to delcare that they are "authentic" must presumably take the view that they are perceived as not being "authentic" - something which might be of concern in a PR company
