"Ciao, risponde la segreteria telefonica di Amanda Chapel. Non sono disponibile al momento, ma se lasci il tuo nome, numero ed un messaggio nella sidebar ti rispondero' al piu' presto. Grazie."
BEEEEEP!
Translation: "Hello, you've reached the voicemail of Amanda Chapel. I am not available at the present moment, but if you leave your name, number and a short message in the sidebar, I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks."
Actually, now you can and I hope you do. Note in the sidebar below "The Rumor Mill," we've added an applet, MyChingo. È fantastico! If you've got a microphone, you get to record up to two minutes of audio and leave me a message.
For the record, we've gotten to be friends with Michael Bailey, the creator MyChingo and president of Mobasoft. Excuse me but Michael's sitting on a goldmine. I would imagine that every website on the planet will be sporting his software in short order. (Full disclosure: The deal is when he makes it BIG, I get to be a lifeguard at one of his soon to be many sprawling Caribbean Island estates.)
Seriously, check it out. Visit www.mychingo.com.
Okay, is this a nod to "the conversation"? Maybe. :)
PS General comments, sweet nothings, PR pitches, as well as death threats, suggestive panting and other messages of a totally lewd and inappropriate sexual nature... are welcome and even encouraged.

Be careful using the word authentic too often. Might later come off as "synthetic authenticity"

I don't have a clue about PR. But, couldn't this move to 'authentic' just really be running away from anything 'virtual' at all, like all the other band-wagoners out there that never u [...]
